Default Rearview Mirror

Alright, so my rearview mirror has been dead awhile and i recently redid my headliner. I ordered a mirror from Lincoln and am looking at installing it. The mirror didnt come with a plug, its just a white, black, and grey exposed wire. The plug coming from the truck still is three wires, but theyre a different color. I would like to just hardwire these together because its very hard coming up with the plug for the mirror. But, i dont know which wires go with which (aside from black with black). Does anyone have a knowledgeable guess? I have a 50/50 chance, but im sure ill guess the wrong combo. But if all else fails i guess i can just wire them with quick disconnects then swap them.

Not that it should make a difference, but new mirror doesnt have cockpit lights, but still autodims.

In the picture my hand to the right is holding mirror wires and the wires showing to the left are the wires from the truck (green, teal with orange stripe, and black).

Is Lincoln a store? Or did you order a Licoln (as in the luxury brand) mirror?

I never noticed my mirror having lights. I'll have to check.

Black is ground, white is hot, grey is reverse.
When you put the truck in reverse the mirror is supposed to auto dim so you can see while backing up.
At least thats how mine was.
It should not matter if you get the black and white switched.
