Replacing Rotors
 

I looked at AB's rebuild kit for the Front and Rear and mad emy own kit using Trevor's website Rovah Farm

(I included each part number per Rovah Farm)

Includes-
4 Joint Washers Gaskets 571752

2 Front Rotors LR017951

2 Rear Rotors LR017953

4 Inner Hub Seal RTC3511

4 Washer Lockers FTC3179

2 Rear ABS Hub Seals ?????

2 Front Brake Pads w/ Hardware
STC9191

2 Rear Brake Pads w/ Hardware
SFP500190

My kit includes all of the above minus the brake pads since I use Auto Zone's that have lifetime warranty so I paid for one set and every time I need to change I just bring the old ones in and get free new ones. Also, I changed the 4 inner hub seals with RTC3511 like many of you have said. My main question is the 2 rear abs hub seals do I need these or is there another part I can get because I disabled my abs.

TOTAL with all taxes and shipping: $572.84

Just leave the ABS sensors in place, they don't hurt anything.

If you read the fine print of the AZ warranty, I bet it's only good for one replacement set.

...and I'm surprised AZ hasn't changed the wording of the warranty to "against manufacturing defects" like almost every other parts supplier. I remember years ago when Western Auto warrantied when they wore out, and I thought, "It's too bad fuel doesn't have the same warranty, because then I could get a free tank when it reached empty."

i heard that if you were doing all this to your D1 brakes it's better to just swap em with all the D90 stuff because they're better and beefier....fact?

and so get everything for the D90? Can somebody confirm that so I don't get parts I can't use haha. I don't mind switching, I mean I'm getting all these things anyways..

I bet Tom Rowe could tell you what will and will not fit or what to choose.

sorry, the D90 calipers have larger pistons and larger pads and bolt right up. I'm sure you'd need their rotors as well. They bolt in real easy. But the hard brake line needs to be rebent or you can install a new line and bend it yourself. D90 calipers rotors and pads all around. SHouldnt have any issues
