The Discos can handle high water pretty well with responsible driving. Snap any phone pics of the flooding?

Water got up right under the head lamps. Next day it kept back firing then would start up but once I put it in drive it would die down. After a while of idle it was fine.

Thats about where I would feel comfortable going. Any higher and you risk issues. Ive seen some put a small tarp over the front grill/hood when fording deep water. This would be only be for short runs of course. It worked well keeping the water out.

I picked up my 98 discovery from the dealer today after declining a proposed replacement of three smog parts that was going to total 1400 plus dollars. I only see the check engine light when turning hard left or hard right anyway. When I got home I joined this forum and took a photo of it... does that count?

Pulled injectors and fuel rail and rocker covers to replace gaskets and 8 new injectors.

Super clean 178,000 mile motor!

Can't get the wheels I ordered yesterday, 16 inch steel.

Seems to be getting harder to get some things for these machines, especially in Canada.

Quick question, for 12 points sockets, am I better getting metric? Seems like it.

Did you remember to check the fuse? Did you clear the codes using the pin jump? My code reader only showed a couple of codes on ABS when I was having an issue. The pin jump flash showed about 8 more codes that had been stored that needed clearing.
