I replaced the rear A frame upper ball joint. This one was shot! I replaced it with a TerraFirma High angle 45 degree unit I got from Lucky8.
Can't tell any difference. It looked like the one I pulled out. Wasn't really too difficult to instal. Had to buy a 30mm boxed end wrench and with two cheater bars the nut gave way.
I also, FINALLY, got my cruise control working. I had two wires wrong on my D2 ECU pigtail to D1 harness. All good now.

this thing was worn out!

Not well. strange behavior. If I hold down the cruise button it works, sorta. But it won't hold the speed. checked the bellows/bladder and that is 100% fine. it will hold the throttle. Changed hoses as well.

When I replaced the cruise ECU with one from a GEMS P38 I changed the connector. I need to check the continuity of those splices.

We finally had some warm, sunny weather, so I hand washed old Indy and applied Meguiar's Ultimate Black to all the exterior plastic bits (which were gray before treatment). Replaced the rear high mounted brake light, dual-function running lights/brake lights, and rear fogs with LED's. I left the blinker bulbs as-is to avoid the fast blink from LED's.

Vredestein Pinza AT's were installed about a month ago.

Ordered a replacement set of side marker lamps and a bumper lamp set (front and rear) from Miami British to replace my cracked originals.

my 1999 D1 has been parked in the back yard with a tarp for the winter, with a battery charger/maintainer on it) I started it every month or so just to keep things lubricated and today I did a clean out the interior, plans are to get it out on the road and re-install the 2m radio for the MN4WD spring event on May 5,6 and7. We'll see how it does with street radials on it. It is fun to show it off anyhow. 24 years old and it still looks like new.
