Trying to figure out the rear sunroof drains. The tray fills up with water and soaks the interior. I can blow air and water straight through both drain tubes without issue. But for some reason when they are plugged in to the tray they won’t tray. The water will sit in the tray and eventually overflows. There are no blockages so can’t figure out why it won’t drain. Just rear sunroof has this issue. Trying to avoid sealing the sunroof shut. Any ideas?

I’ve got the headliner out, neither of them appear to be pinched but the one on the driver’s side isn’t perfectly round. That being said, I can even blow into it with my mouth and there’s no resistance at all. I’ll take some pictures in a bit, im
honestly not sure what the drains should look like or if they’re routed correctly.

Ok so it’s pouring outside (perfect time to mess with this) and here’s where I’m at. The drivers side of the rear sunroof tray is full of water. If I pull the hose off and blow through the drain, it will evacuate the water in the hose (you can see it gush our behind the tire) but then it will only take a small amount of water back into the hose before it stops and goes back to dripping in the cabin. I can’t see behind the rear ac ducts but what I can see looks fine and isn’t linked or pinched. Should I remove more stuff and trace the drain further down? Where exactly does it exit?

Pulled down the ac ductwork by the alpine window and found the problem, part of the drain tube is collapsed. Can I just cut out and splice in a new piece with some plastic barb fittings or do I need to replace the whole drain tube?

Got it fixed today finally, ended up rerouting the drain hose and cutting out the damaged section. Had enough slack that I didn’t have to splice anything together. Now to put all of this crap back in, pretty sure the PO used wood screws to replace almost everything, haha.
