Wet Headliner

Wet Headliner
I've had occasional problems where water would leak out of the headliner, but just a little bit. We've had quite a bit of rain over the past few weeks, though, and when I got in my Disco today, the whole front of the headliner is wet.
I'm assuming the sun roof is leaking?
Is this a common or known issue?

I've never messed with my sunroof drains but I would check the top of the drain and see if you can see a clog, then blow it out with air. Here is a thread with a little more info and experience.

also...maybe...
another semi common leak point is the windshield itself. At the top right and left corners and along the top and side of the glass underneath the rubber cover strip molding. I had a small leak there and the symptom was a wet leading edge of the headliner. I lifted off the side seal and lifted up on the top strip and placed a bunch of dum dum along the edge of the glass. not too much that it lifted the seals up when they were replaced but enough to completely reseal the gap between the body and glass.
No leaks since then. I wouldn't use silicone as natural rubber and silicone don't get along. PLUS, dum dum you can very easily remove if you need to reseal.
That could be your issue if it is just the leading edge of the headliner that is wet and this is a good first step as it is easier than removing the headliner... if that fails then the headliner is next. https://landroverforums.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=33276
