If you did it again in the future, it comes down to really counting exactly the threads on each joint and essentially copying the dimensions. And there's the issue where if a joint has major play in it but the allignment is ok, the new joint won't be the same since it's tighter. Try marking the exposed threads for easy comparison to the replacement.

My suggestion is do the steering arm on one day, then do the track rod another day, easier to pin down if you got one wrong and adjust. But really allignments are always good to have done anyway.

Auhh that makes sense. Its very subtle with those tiny various adjustments. I counted the threads and everything but in the end I had moved to many parts without a clear reference what to do next.

Thanks!

Sounds like you also took off the drag link and the track bar at the same time without replacing one first.
With the box centralized, starting with the track bar can get you into less trouble.
So now it's just time for an alignment.
Not the end of the world just go get out the tape measure. Or bring the rig to the alignment shop.
And if you take it to a shop don't let them B$ you, this truck only has a simple toe adjustment.

I just got a call from the shop saying their alignment gear isnt working and now I need to walk 4miles to pick the truck up.

I actually took the front tie end and bar off first and replaced it before removing anything on the wheels. May get out the tape measure! Another shop told me $150 for an alignment and afterwards its $90/hr.

WTF, I'm assuming that after the alignment they are providing you with dinner, a movie, and one hell of a Happy Ending!!!!!
