look for the window ECU solder video

Chances are it is the window ECU with a racked solder joint. You could apply power directly to the window motor to get it closed to buy you some time or keep the rain out.
I fixed my ECU a couple of times and located a replacement on Ebay for a good price. Been working good for now. You didn't say if it was a front or rear window. There is a bypass for the rear windows not working.

Found this for you

with Photobucket messing around, most pictures are gone.

yeah I think British Atlantic cable to bypass the rear ecu for like 15 or 25 bucks

If it's a rear window, you can bypass the ECU's send of positive to the switch array as others have noted- no need to go with the BA kit, just need a few feet of wire and some connectors. I suppose you could also just wire a fused 30A ignition-on positive directly to that wire harness, as well.

On my D1, I pulled the ECU as neither rear window worked when I bought it- solder joints good but I reflowed the board- still nothing. Bypassed the ECU for the rears- nothing. Checked the wiring diagram- for mine it was a combination of faulty switches and bad connections- the rear window lockout switch in the console is especially important, as it can disconnect ground for both rear windows. Got it all working only to find out both rear motors had broken bushings when they run along the channel track inside the doors.... pbbbt.
