wireing questions

OK I removed the abs pump for more room, I am gonna put a remote fuse box there, and the relays for my off road lights

Question is the round plug with 2 large wires that was connected to the pump runs off the 40amp fuse by battery right? If I can get power from that plug will save me some wiring and help keep clean under hood

Ideas since I put the big abs fuse in and have no power at that plug

I do not believe you are correct. The abs pump receives power when the ABS ECU initializes the relay, not constant power. I read up on this and the slabs/ABS ECU monitors the sensors and sends power to the abs pump when the right situation arises. The plug I think you are talking about is C0507 and the wires are brown/red(powered by pump relay) and black(ground).

I would look elsewhere for power to the new relay box you are installing.

Like directly off the engine bay fuse block, nice solid positive wire right there.......

Yeah I knew it was too good to be true having a fuse circuit already run to the drivers side

Btw the lights are all led so no crazy amp draw

I like the Blue Sea busbars, or similar

Install it over near where the ABS stuff was, run a single #2 from your battery terminal to it, then feed your terminal/relay block from that. You can also earth through it, running an earth cable down to your chassis like the one from the battery on the other side.
Then you'll have a good source for future additions.
If you're using an Odyssey or DH Platinum that has top and side posts you can run the supply from the side post to make it neater.

How bout I just hook that abs pump wire to the abs pump power wire at the relay, where's the relay? Lol

Dad did not bring my wire I needed from home so trying to take a free shortcut

Retrofit heated seats LR3

Hi all
I have found the following on disco3.co.uk.

http://disco3.co.uk/forum/topic90406.html?highlight=Retrofit+heated+seats&st art=15

essentially you need 4 wire connector into the hvac and 2 wires to left and right side footwell as well as connect 2 earths together.

Going to try soon, I have already replaced the original seats with electric leather heated seats.

I ended up running a dedicated power to the new remote fuse box, iirc pics are in my build thread
