03 oil question???
 

I just bought a 03 Disco with 51,000, I recently watched a video on Royal Puple and I am sold on it I am also conserned with the existing oil in the transmission and transfer case, I intend on doing my 60.000 mile service but in the mean time I would like to change the oldoil befor a up comming trip!
I would like to pump the old oil out of the transfer and the transmission and pump new oil in how do I do this and how do I know when it is full? Also why isnt ther a dip stick?

There should be two plugs on the trans, drain plug and fill plug. The fill plug will be the one close to the top. But from what I understand is that you just pump in the new fluid until it runs out of the fillhole and then put the plug back.
The diffs are easy, pull the plug on the bottom, let all the gear lube drain out, replace the plug and then fill it until the fluid runs out of the fill hole and plug it back up.
Transfer case is the same way.
The fill plg for the t-case is right in front of the parking brake drum and is a pain to reach. I took mine to a quick lube and let them do it because I had no way of getting fluid back into the t-case.

Yaa I am leaning that way my self hehe, but does any one know how much transmission flide I should buy,and tranfer case? I guess I could call autozone they might know?

You should put the Royal Purple in all the areas, t/case, both diffs tranny and engine.
To do the tranny, you will need to find a shop that can do a complete flush, otherwise all you will have is a 40/60 mix.
