Yes, no spark.Let me provide history on this specimen. Motor was blown up over heated 3 times. sat in dealer lot for about 1 year. Second owner swaped series 1 engine with series 2 parts including flywheel. I also have all the series 2 engine parts left over. Identified broken CPS and replaced. Here is where I am.

Ok, so you havea GEMS engine in a BOSCH trk.
You might need to swap the ECU, the GEMS engine manegment is very basic and simple, the BOSCH engine manegment is alittle more complicated and the DI engine isint set up for that. I know that you can drop a DII engine into a DI but am not sure about the other way around.
The engine doesnt care what it is hooked up to but the ECU does, if everything isint connected then the ECU will think that there is a problem and it might not run.

OK, so you didnt swap the enigne and go, you changed the block and re-used the good parts from the bad engine.
So everything that is supposed to be connected is connected.
No spark.
Replaced crank sensor, how about the cam sensor? Oh, did you use the right crank sensor? Will a DI crank sensor plug into a DII harness? If it will plug in will it send the right signal?
I dont know the answers to these questions but maybe somebody else will.
Now it is WAY past my bedtime so I am going to have to leave you until after work tommorrow.
Good luck with your trk.

The engine was complete when I purchased. All the connectors are in the correct location. Ther is no visable modifications of harness. Have all the paper work to support the over heating problem. The original block has a crack in a cylinder. It appears the short block from the series 1 was all that was used.
