2" lift

I currently have the stock 255/55 18 Goodyears and want to put some 275/65 18 on my stock Disco. It appears that I will need to put at least a 2" lift to get a little more room for these tires. Has anyone ever dealt with Toddco suspensions?? They offer a 2" lift kit and say there is no further work to be done to accomidate larger tires. I am not going to have to change anything else am I and how will this vehicle handle going this route. I have never done this to any 4x4 so I haven't a clue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to Lucky8 and check out their medium OME lift, coils and shocks, for $599, this is a great price on a quality lift.

Is it necessary to change the springs and shocks just by adding the 2" spacers to the springs?

You do not want 2" spacers on a worn out suspension. It is going to ride horrendously and be much more top heavy.

The OME medium kit is going to give a fantastic ride.

...does that Lucky8 kit require anything further, like a driveshaft upgrade/lengthening or is it fine by itself?

The rule of thumb is anything less than 3-inch lift does not require additional modifications to drivetrain, brake lines, etc.

You don't need to upgrade driveshafts until you are hitting upper 4" close to 5".....
