I saw on another forum where most people were saying their G4 editions come back as S models too. That kind of makes sense. No need to drive a SE over to the special vehicles shop at the factory just to have them yank out the expensive leather seats and replace them with weather resistant seats.

Does your G4 have sun roofs? They say some do some don't.

Plus, with the resale of the Discovery, I very much doubt anyone is making clones of the newer "Special Vehicles." I think making a Camel Trophy or XD clone would be the more likely culprit back in the day, but making a G4 clone wouldn't get you a much higher resale value so there would be no point to go through the trouble....doesn't mean it hasn't been done, but just saying it would be a LOT of trouble just to try and get a $1000 more on a resale.
