255/70R18 Duellers with Terra Firma 2" MD Lift

I did much research on the various up-size tire options to go with my 18" Hurricane wheels. I could have switched to 16" rims to give me more tire options. However, I have to change out 8 wheels as I also have an off-road trailer with the same wheels and associated spare wheels.

There was not much info on the 255/70R18 tire fitment on the Disco, I happened to get a great deal on 8 used Bridgestone Duellers (with 90% tread life) and decided to make the switch. One concern expressed in previous posts was whether the front tire would hit the mudflap or windshield bottle. It did not on my truck with the 2" Terra Firma medium lift and custom bumper.

I thought I post some pics in cause there are questions in the future regarding these tires. I went from the Toyo Open Country AT-2Plus 255/55R18 (29" tire) to these 32" tires. I love the Toyos, but I am also very happy to have the extra ride clearance for the summer off-road season.

Tomorrow will be another project to flip the spare tire carrier, the Baja expedition rack and roof top tent :)
