3 Amigos won't go away

I did the update that is posted as a sticky here. I just spent $400 on a speed sensor that was guaranteed to fix the problem. No good & now the shop tells me it's my ABS (SLAB)?

They did get the ABS & downhill lights to go off but the TC would engauge while driving down the road at any speed and any right hand turn. This was very unsafe to drive. The shop said the can put the lights back on but I'm still out the $400. Any thoughts?

There are no guarantees in this world. I would suggest you could have bought your own scanner and sensor for around $300 and had it fixed.
Go have some one read the exact 3 Amigos fault code numbers and get back to us with them.
In the mean time, I would suggest you have that shop quit working on it will you get the exact fault codes numbers.

Thanks for the reply Mike. I will be gone until 9/7. I will get the codes then.

There are about 16 different items that can cause the 3 Amigo's, when you get back to town, get the numbers and get back to us.

Back in town & here are the codes.

SSW50020 . . . Service Sensor Kit-Front . . . This was done.
SSW50030 . . . Service Sensor Kit-Rear . . . Had this done too.
SSW50070 . . . Electric Control Unit-(SLABS)

The lights are still on & now the "Service Engine Light" is on.
I just had ALL the fluids changed:Oil, Anti Freeze(Green), Brake & Power Steering.

Where can I get the Ultra Gauge?

Any help is always greatly appreciated.

If you have an android phone I would strongly recommend a Bluetooth ELM327 OBD2 scanner for like $30 then buy the torque app for $5 to read codes.

I have an iPhone3 & i'm at my wits end. I don't mind working on it at all but working on the same problem over & over gets annoying.

So, it is time to quit messing with it. You either need to buy an ABS scanner for around $200 or fins a shop that will have one and will probably charge you the same amount to read and later clear the codes after the repairs are made.
By the way speed sensors are only around $40 to %100 depending on used or new.
