I don't know how close to you they are, but I've heard good things about this place> C&H Auto Service | Over 30 Years of Land Rover and Mini Experience | Orlando ? Winter Park, FL

What would be the labor to replace the front engine cover?

Is this the spare part I would need?
LJR000220
Engine Front Cover (Part # LJR000220) - Land Rover Discovery II

not sure on labor costs, but it may just need to be re sealed and not replaced. new front oil seal and gasket

but that is a correct link to a new cover

I would get this: Oil Pump Gear Kit With Gaskets For Land Rover And Range Rover

As long as you're in there, you might as well do it.

$350 at the dealer, so your cost with an independent should be less than that. I would cover the engine top to bottom with degreaser and find an undercarriage car wash before you bring it to anyone.

This morning I visited C&H Auto service in Orlando FL.
After a short look to the engine, Paul (Owner of C&H) told me that the Intake Manifold Valley Gasket is leaking. The repair costs 800$.
He expects the car to be repaired tomorrow evening.
Hopefully I will return with good news by Thursday, cross fingers please.

It was the INLET MANIFOLD VALLEY GASKET.
Now the oil leakage is back to the normal amount a Rover shows

And after putting in a new battery yesterday the Rover drives, until it fails again, hopefully not too soon.

Thanks for the support in this thread.

Unfortunately yes, I had no option to do it myself.
