Default 64" Wide Headliner Material Source

Where do I find this elusive 64" wide material? Seems 50" and 60" are readily available, but 64" I can't seem to find.

64" wide is what is needed to redo a Disco 2 headliner yes?

Here I go again. I'm a big fan of stripping and painting the headliner instead of recovering it. I did that in my truck many years ago and I've been very happy with the result. And, it will never sag again!

great for a trail truck or project that you don’t care about looks on but if you do it right, you won’t have problems for years and years again with new headliner. Looks so much better.

I was actually considering lining it with UPol Raptor liner. This can be sprayed to have a very fine texture, but I am worried that all the "bending" that is required to get the headliner back in the truck that it would crease the coating. The other consideration is to cover the headliner in a vinyl material that would be easier to clean if it got dirty.

You can see the texture of the fiberglass shell in my pics. I took a piece of the old fabric to The Home Depot and they matched the color very well, I think. I bought a quart of a good exterior latex paint.

There is no way I'm paying that kind of money for 3 yards of fabric and two cans of adhesive. I'll take two pieces of material and sew a seam right down the center first. I will check with my local upholstery guy to see what he says/suggests.

Another option for those who might like to try something a bit more custom or bespoke, this site has hundreds of cool patterns, and if you buy it in the 60" Cotton Spandex Jersey material, it easily stretches to fit the D2 headliner. That's a 4 way stretch material that conforms to corners and whatnot really well.

oh sheesh. It used to be $120 for the kit. I don’t blame you.
