95 Disco not starting
 

95 disco 100000 miles. Had a battery going bad and just replaced it. Had the alternator and charging system tested at same time and is ok. Now (less than 100 miles) it will not start. It cranks over. Can not hear fuel pump running. I had some bad gas about 2000 miles ago and changed the fuel filter after getting rid of gas. How do I test the fuel pump. I have the access open and know that the pump is not running. I tried the inertia switch but that wasn't it. Near the battery is a TRW device with wires running to the inertia switch and there is one on the other side of the radiator as well, what are they? Something is not allowing the pump to start, and I have no good reason but do not think it is the pump. About 12000 miles ago had all new injectors, fuel rail, sensors on the rail and new exhaust replaced. The truck sat for about a month without running and I believe that is what made the battery go. Any help?

I have no idea what that TRW thing is, but if it is not stock then I would suspect that.
Did you check all of your relays and what nots?

Found the problem
 

I should have gone against my own "Beliefs". Turns out it was the fuel pump. I went to a Rover friends house and he had an old pump that pumped but was weak, so I installed it. Damn if it didn't start. Wouldn't run at speed but started. I quickly went and bought a new one and viola...on the road again. I am now thinking the bad fuel was worse than thought. I have a set of Ford mustang V8 injectors on a new fuel rail and hope that nothing is foul with them. The problem is solved for now but beware of out of the way non-brand fuel stations, has caused me nothing but trouble.

We had a similar probelm with @ss brand gas, we wne t wheeling last Sunday and bought gas in a small town from a no name gas station, and not even thinking I bought premium, just like always.
All this last week the truck would want to stall at stop lights and woudl surge on the expressway.
Back to Shell V-Power and all is well again.
Normally when we are in that situation I will buy regular just because I know it is good and not stale.

Yeah I seemed to notice a slight improvement with the Shell V power in my Disco too but wasn't sure if I was imagining it LOL. I'll pay more attention next time I fill up with it.
