ABS, Traction Control, Hill Descent Warning Lights

The 3 warning lights mentioned above have all come on and I cannot seem to get them to turn off, even thought the components seem to be working.

The D2 Workshop Manual refers to Fuse #27 for each of the functions, and indicates that if they fall below 1.8V the warning lights will come on. The owner's manual says that this is a 10A fuse, and the repair manual says that it is a 15A fuse. I have replaced it with each of them, and it still doesn't seem to fix the problem.

Does anyone have an idea of what else could be causing this problem?

Thanks.

Chris

Before you proceed to disassemble your ABS, get the codes read. There are numerous causes for the "3 Amigos", it could be as simple as a Brake Light Switch.

Most the time these "Three Amigos" lights come on for a small, or temporary problems. Usually with warning lights, if you disconnect the negative on your battery leave it off a while then reatach it and start up the car, all false or corrupt lights will get swiped from the computers memory. If you end up leaving the lights on a few days they get programmed into the computer and stay on your dash until Land Rover gets em off for you or you use this ( http://www.rswsolutions.com/index.ph...d=56&Itemid=55 ) to take em off yourself. Its expensive but you dont have to worry about em ever again, plus its like hundreds more at a Land Rover repair shop. At least its not that big of a problem, Ive had mine on for months and nothing has happended(at least so far). Anyways good luck with your problem.

the first part is false. disconnecting the negative to the battery will do nothing. the only small problem could be brake dust or a warped rotor. it's more likely a hub, ABS sensor or a shuttle valve failure.

nothing will happen if the lights are on except for the loss of traction control and possibly ABS.

Is there a chance this device will work on the 2004 DII?

Yes, it will.
