Air suspension compressor

I got a 04 disco few months ago with a converted air suspension to spring. I guess I can still hear the compressor running once in a while and I have some few questions:
-How can I disable the motor or components related to the air suspension?
-I want to replace with ARB shocks and springs. Are the mounts compatible with after market springs and shocks?
-Can the compressor be modified as an air compressor to pump the tires?
THANKS

Are you positive it is the air compressor running? The SAI has a compressor(of sorts) that blows air into the exhaust and it comes on when called upon by the ECU, normally at cold startup. If it is the air compressor, I believe there is a relay that turns it on and can be pulled. Someone a little more versed can chime in here.

if you think it is the compressor for your suspension just pull the relay under the hood.
yes if it already running coil not a problem, replacing with coils.
No that compressor will not work for tires, it would burn up before you got one inflated
