I think I'll try the 265-60-18
do you mean bigger wider or taller wall or both ?

Primarily taller, but hard to go taller without going wider. The 265/60 is a good choice.

There is s good deal I found for 265/65/18 for my 03 discovery.
Will these rub on stock suspension ??
Anyone have experience

Like I said above, 8ve run them on stock suspension without rubbing. Some experience minor rubbing. Depends on the truck.

I"ve got Nitto Terra Grapplers now, but my next set will be the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTacs in 265/60-18.

Adding a datapoint here.

I just installed Falken Wildpeak AT3W 265/70R16 tires on my stock '04 Disco II SE Trail Edition (incl. running boards & mud flaps). Tires look great but do rub on the mud flaps when turning. This is mostly during parking maneuvering.

I bought the tires yesterday 265/65/18 they look huge
will be putting them on today and let you all know how they fit
my 03 disco is stock with no air suspension or active cornering etc basic truck

They fit great no rubbing at all 265/65/18
