Its not a "kit" all the damn thing is the front output housing off any respectible disco that had a locking CDL.

Call Paul Grant (dMike signature has contact info) or any other LR used parts guy and they can get you what you need a hell of a lot cheaper than toddco...and you dont need to buy a whole case just the front output hosing (weights 10-20 lbs) cheap shipping...even if you can get an entire case at $200 shipping will reem you good....

8 of the 16 cross member bolts snap when i did mine...start soaking them now and run an impact on them when you do take it off....the heads will snap off before anything else and make sure you use a 6 sided impact socket.

I think the head will strip off before anything else happens on my truck. It's an Arizona truck, not a spot of rust(incredibly rare on any DII you see in New England, or a lot of other places too). We soaked the bolts in PB blaster a couple weeks ago and attempted to use an impact to remove, stripped the heads(not sure how it happened, it was my mechanic doing it). I may have to just cut the piece off.

Also, I didn't realize it wasn't a complete kit, that's pretty BS false advertising. I think I'll continue to look for a complete 04 DII t-case with linkages, then I'll have mine as a back up if it fails.

Where to get a lever?

I'm ready to install my own version of the push/pull cable. I'm having trouble coming up with a lever to bolt to the cdl nipple. Suggestions?
