You are fine, all DII,s use the same alternator.
Not sure if the DI and DII use the same one or not though, but yes, you are perfectly fine.

My alternator went out a wk ago so I had to go get a used one and got it testing before I put it on and I made sure that All cables and wires were tight but it still want to act like it doesn't want hold a charge lights dims and starts wanting to died on me so I don't know if the belt is bad or what

get a multi meter and check for charge at the battery if its lower than 13.4 then the battery will not get a full charge . A good charge system will run from 13.5 to 14.5 at about 1500rpm

Ok had the battery test and it is good but belt is still want to whine and so do you hits thinks I should chang out the belt

I just change the belt and everything is good but the rpm are beyond 1 idle and half way between 1 and 2 when I hit 50 mph
