Yeah I posted on social media, I learned my lesson with loose items in the cargo area off-roading with @keninnc at Uwarrhie a couple years ago. I slide off a steep uphill trail and got stuck. My recovery gear was in the back, so when I opened the taildoor all my gear came tumbling out and rolling down the hill. Came home and started working on cargo nets to hold everything in place.

The aluminum sight plugs for the transmission and transfer case, is there any chance these could cause galvanic corrosion due to mixing aluminum with the steel they're screwed into?

Transfer case housing is aluminum, and the threads on the transmission pan sight glass are lubricated with the transmission fluid. The sealing of the fluid in the pan happens between the flange on the plug and the pan. So no, not possible.
