Thanks. New here. Still learning.

We're all still learning :)

Glad to know there are some friends near by. I pass through Fallbrook on a normal basis but reside down by Oceanside.

There are cheaper options out there now though.

Well besides borrowing what else is there? I'm very poor myself haha... I mean I drive a rover for crying out loud

I was just providing info for the new guy. In case they were thinking of buying. These days there is no reason to buy a new amigo when the autel al619 is cheaper.

Borrowing is still much cheaper of course. :)

Can that tool look up Land Rovers ABS faults?

No personal experience, but there are lots of posts that say after you buy it, register it, and download an update for it, it will read D2 abs code.

I have just been informed that the standard "amigo" can't check ABS/HDC/TC fault codes? What is the way to get this done without spending $200 "diagnostic" fee at the dealership (local indy shops weren't much better)

That's pretty much all it does is read those codes.

Maybe caljw has something different? If anyone else has a standard Amigo that can read ABS faults that would be great :)

Sooner I get this resolved the sooner I can get back to wheelin'

I have an Autel and it will read the ABS. It does not give you the code number but tells you what the fault is and you can clear the codes with it. I also have the ABS Amigo V1 - USB and it works very well. But you have to plug it into a computer after running the diagnostics in order to get the results. The amigo will give you the actual code numbers then you have to find the code description.
