Well that was a waste of 10 minutes of my life I will never get back. I did not see where any of those links had light bars for a LR Discovery.

All I did was Google "off road light bar" and then copy and pasted the links.
Someone else will have to do the actual work to find a LR one.

I know... but isn't it frustrating? I ccan find a freaking light bar (actually 4 of them) for a JD Gator or Polaris Ranger, but not ONE for a Discovery!!!! just seems stupid to me. Somebody with some fabricating skills is missing a golden opportunity here!

The problem is that nobody ever takes their Disco off road.
When I was tire shopping last year I told a guy at a tire shop what i was lookig for and he said "You dont want those, those are for off roading and snow plows, you dont off road, no way you off road a Land Rover, hell man, those things are expensive!"
I took my business elsewhere.

You have a couple of options:

One, Contact Matt at Hi-Country Off Road (www.hicountryoffroad.com).
A year or so ago a few members mentioned him possibly fabricating some like the ones you find in the UK. Not sure if he actually went through with it though. Worth a try, their main site is down, but there is a link to their shop on the website i listed.

Second, make one. They are a super easy design if you knowm or know someone, who knows how to fab.

Also, check this out:

Just another option if you can't come accross a mofab one.

IMO, For what it is worth, you can put a lot more light in front of your truck when using bumper mounted lights if you'd rather take that route. Its looks like you already have a couple on there though... As for Mofab, their site just droped off the face of the earth one day... not sure what happened.

I've been searching for quite some time for a light bar that doesn't look like it belongs on an '85 KC Blazer or a dune buggy, and haven't come across anything (this side of the pond) that doesn't cost 2 arms and a leg. I've given up hope and will probably resort to a custom build. I found some pretty cool little LED driving lights at Wal-Mart that cost less than $20 so I'm trying to figure out something to do with them, doubt they will be bright enough for driving lights so they might become aux reverse lights, they kinda look like this....about 4.5" wide.

Check out Disco_Fever's bar (frikin awesome) and there are a couple links and pics from this thread a while back, I think the big picture is the infamous Mofab light bar.
