Default Anyone still sending around a scanner?

Three amigos came back today. Would really like to avoid paying my local shop $60 for 3 minutes of scan tool usage. Does anyone have an extra scanner or have a "rental" unit they would be willing to send me for a short time?

Why not just go to local auto parts store?
Their obd2 scanners will give you code numbers.

Sent him a pm, thanks!

BTW, if anyone else would be willing to part with theirs I would gladly put a deposit on it for the time that I have it. Obviously will pay for shipping as well.

The iCarsoft 930, can that scan abs codes as well? Are you talking about a specific abs scanner?

doesn't have to be an abs specific scanner, just any one of the several that will communicate with the Discovery ABS system.

Don't know if this is valid for your case, but anytime I get a low battery my 3 Amigoes return. Charging the battery always clears those lights on the next engine re-start.

My Icarsoft Scanner II reads and clears abs fault codes as well as many many other features.

I will be down in Rockwell North Carolina within the month give or take. Anyone along my route who needs to use my scanner should message me in advance so we can schedule a time and place. Free of charge. Only takes afew minutes to read the codes. Highly recommend all DIY'ers to spend the $180 on one of these scan tools. Does so much more than just read obd2 codes. Very useful tool to have in your collection and it can be used on other vehicles.
