Best on road shocks?

I put OME Nitro Chargers on mine with the original front springs and air suspension on the back. They are an improved ride on road over the originals, but I can't say that any Discovery has a good on road ride. My 2000 Nissan Frontier rides much better both on road and off.

I put brand new bilsteins on old original springs and wore them out in less than 10k miles.
I would not recommend you put new shocks on a high mile original spring truck.
Especially expensive ones.
I have OME MD +2 and after 2.5 years they are starting to ride less stiff. So shop around and know what you are looking for. Stock OEM replacements are a fine option and Lucky8 has them cheap.
If i had it to do over again, for a minimally offroad vehicle, I would get those L8 stock replacement springs and Bilstein shocks.

I'd be happy to give everyone an update. I wasn't going to DIY unless someone can offer me some encouragement and instruction. After viewing the AB video it seems I'll have trouble getting the rear high enough to drop the axel and remove the spring.
