I am most likely going with the Kuat Nv 2.0 with the swivel adapter.

Thule 2" hitch mount 4 bike tilt out, on my Disco 2. Works great. Used it o several vehicles over many years. Had 4 bikes on it often. Tilts away so you can swing open the door. It's bullet proof, and perfectly functional on a D2. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...2e36b71d20.jpg

There would have been no way that my rack (Thule T2) would have worked. I bought an extension with a riser so I wouldn't lose all of the departure angle if I do some off-roading with the bikes on the back. You'll see the extension brings the mount point flush with the rear-mounted tire now.

Obviously I am not going to be towing my big boat with it, but I have a 300 pound sailboat with trailer that I take from NJ to Maryland once a year for a small craft festival that lasts a full weekend, Finding room to store the bike in the truck along with all the camping gear and the boat gear makes for a pretty stuffed trip. If I could get the bike on the back? |
Just some pictures for you guys from Silver Comet the other weekend.

that looks good, but I would think about taking the front wheel off. It looks like it hangs out over the side pretty far.

Bike Racks
There are many Bike racks available on the market. It's up to you what do you like and what do you love to use. If I at your place, I will then choose Yakima Fullback 2 Bike racks. They are easy to install and comfort to carry.
