Sounds good, I don't know why the pcv system never crossed my mind, but that is a logical way for oil to get into the intake too. I think you hit it with the ignition issues though. Cps is a good thing to have for a long trip, especially with the issues you just had. Seems like cheap insurance.

CPS replaced, PCV Hose cleaned. Still idles rough with AC on...

What's next in line ECU, vacuum? It only idles rough with the brakes pressed at a stop or near stopping with the AC on. I put new coils, wires & plugs in (plus new gaskets onthe top 1/4 of the engine).

I've gotten improvements from changing all these parts out but I don't think I found the real culprit yet.

It was the CKPS and 2 of the new plug wires that were bad. Thanks a ton for all of the help.
