Default Block Pressure test

Does anyone have a link to a step by step process of pressure testing these blocks while it's in the car? I.e. where to get the plates and bolts?

If the heads are still on you can do a leak down test.

No clue where to get a kit for that. Never heard of one. Probably have to make it yourself

I don't really see the point of pressure testing a cold block

I would think a cracked block would leak on a pressure test cold or hot

I’ve got the kit. The cracks in a block are normally very minuscule, and only start to leak when the block heats up.

That’s why the pressure test is so frustrating. Are any of your Center pistons steam cleaned(3,5,4,or 6)?

You just have to love the "modified water pump".

Yeah, but the water pump they sent me was so warped I had to send out to have decked at the machine shop as it would not seat flat against the front cover.
