Default Bosch starter.

I’ve just swapped my failing starter for a generic $70 Amazon one. I’m hoping that decision doesn’t come back to bite me.

I took off a Bosch. I see new Bosch sell for ~ $300, with a $60 core.

Should I just keep hold of the core in case the $70 special taps out?

At least I’ll be quicker swapping it next time. (Test of arm dexterity that one)

Bosch starters are better quality so I would look around for an auto electric shop and have them rebuild your starter so you can have a good shelf spare.
