Brake bleeding questions (manual and scan tool)
For tools I have the Lynx and a a handheld vacuum pump bleeder ($20 bucks). Is the handhold tool even needed? It seems redundant with doing the 2 man pedal pump method.
Lynx doesn't have a manual so here's my thinking:
1. Follow RAVE manual bleed procedure and do that first
(pump brakes 3 times w/ valve closed, then press and hold pedal while cracking the bleeder)
2. For the Lynx, like the hawkeye, it goes through a cycle and activates each wheel. I assume the bleeders should all be closed for this step as there is no time to go around to each wheel while it runs. Right?
One thats done, you can "power bleed" each wheel individually. It has a start and stop, so you can leave it running as long as you want. Do I open the bleeder, and then activate the power bleed? Or start the power bleed, and then crack the bleeder? And for stopping, which first?
