Does anyone know were you can get these bulbs that are the bumper taillights with the red lenses on them on a Disco 1? I have tried Wal Mart and Auto Zone and they do not carry them. Is my last resort the dealership? I do not have a dealship close to me I will have to drive about 2 hours to get to one and then they will charge me about half of what I paid for the Rover for those bulbs. Also how do you replace the bulbs in the center console with the shifter, does the shifter cover pop off? I haven't tried but thought I would ask frist jsut so I wouldn't break anything. Any help appreciated.

 

They should have them at Autozone. That is where I got mine.

The center console has to be removed. Two screws in the cubby. Unscrew the High Low ****. The boot pulls off. Two screws under that and the console comes off. The two bulbs are on the side of the shifter and they are small 5 watt jobbies.
