Burned center diff fluid?

So good, the swivel pin housing is not something I'm going to need to worry with. What about signs of a center diff problem?

You will know when it starts to go bad. (lots of noise, and I mean LOTS, like gears whining, grinding, etc.)
Dont worry about it, your fine.
People have run their t-case out of oil, refilled it and then kept going.
