Cell Phone Mount
Anyone have any interesting ideas for where to mount a cellphone? I have a larger phone (note 4) and want to be able to use it for GPS, Torque, etc.. so I want it mounted in an easy to access location, but also very securely mounted to handle any thrashing while wheeling.
I'm thinking of screwing/bolting in a tripod bolt somehow into the top middle... above the radio where the black rubber holder is. That way I can remove the whole mount if necessary, or change it to a different one in the future. I just need to come up with a bracket that would work. |

That is the worst photo! I don't even know what I am looking at. I am looking for iPad mount to use my Delorme app (works great).

Here is another one which I use for my iPhone 6+ .... interchangeable between my bicycles and vehicles:
Quad Lock ? iPhone Bike Mounts |
A spring-actuated, dash-mounted holder is the way to go.
I use one of these: iOttie Easy One Touch XL Car Mount Holder My only quip is that when I go from about 170 feet to 8,000 or so the suction cup can lose it's grip on the textured dash. I'm not using the smooth disc attachment, so I can't really complain... |
