I'm thinking of straight piping my passenger side. I don't like the fact that the big cat is right next to the drive shaft. I'll throw a spacer in the 02 bung so it won't throw a code.

If you're gonna do one, may as well do both. Will fail emissions either way. Also, would be weird having one bank with a cat and the other catless.

Yeah, I don't think there's enough Sea Foam in my local AutoZone to help that...

My Volvo has been catless for around 2 years, I really don't like the smell. I feel as though it won't smell as bad if I at least have one cat. With a spacer the car has no way of knowing there isn't a cat, that's how my volvo passes emissions every year. We only read codes, we don't do a "sniffer" test here.
