Default check Valve in right valve cover

Needed, I assume this valve is part of the PCV system...mine is sooo stuck...disco 2 ..4.6

Yup and you cannot get it out on an 04/03 with out removing the valve cover in 90% of the cases, but carb cleaner sprayed down there 8 or 9 times will clean most of the goop out. Work wonders on mine an killed my oil consumption completely.

Just finishing up on a cam and lifters on my 03/D2, looking at details as I reassemble..Thanks for the info,will try carb cleaner trick..JV

Remove the ****ty plastic PCV, throw it away and screw in a FRAM FV308 PCV to the manifold cover.

If your talking about the oil separator then just grab it with pliers and wiggle it out

I just did mine it's metal stud with a pin hole on top and inside it has a plastic oil separator
i drilled that plastic out and will be installing a fram pvc valve

Any pics of this mod ? Did you guys keep the metal fitting in and attached the new pcv or did you guys put the new fram pcv in the hole

Remove OEM plastic nipple from intake, screw in the FV308, and if you can remove the baffle from the valve cover for the best results.
