Default Clunk/jerk from Transmission in Reverse. New Drive Shaft

Hey all, just installed a new Lucky 8 front driveshaft. I wasn’t having any problems/noises but the original looked dried out so I replaced as preventative maintenance.

Now after installing new front driveshaft there’s a loud clunk ONLY when shifting from drive to reverse. When looking under the vehicle, I can see a visible half turn on the front driveshaft.

Was it something during installation? I jacked up and spun the old driveshaft a bunch in neutral to access bolts. Then I realized after installing new driveshaft that the rear part of the front driveshaft didn’t align with the original. Could that be it?

Any help would be appreciated. Need to get this fixed ASAP. Thanks!

Sorry I’m an idiot. I meant front differential makes the noise/jerk

IDK, that backlash doesn't look totally out of line. You mention 1/2 turn, but really looks more like 15-20 deg in the video.

Is the front diff full of good oil?

Not sure to be honest. I’ll check tomorrow with some more daylight. Some more info to add if it matters... the low/high shifter is stuck in high. I didn’t put it in nuetral when rotating driveshaft to access bolts
