Code Help

Just finished reinstalling the drivers side exhaust manifold and completed the Tune-up, Plugs and Wires, Now I have a code I do not recognize.

P0130-from the exhaust leak, I believe the new O2 needs to be replace again.
P0135- same as above
P0171-same as above

P1129-Nevermind, I found it. Man My search skill are off today.

Also the #2 plug had been installed just over half way, Champion plugs no Idea how long they were in there, I ran a Thread cleaner through and installed the new plug.

It runs way better now. Just have the one code I need help with.

Savannah Buzz 05-09-2012 09:19 PM

P0130 O2 sensor circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1)
Front sensor LH bank stoichiometric ratio outside operating band

P0135 O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1)
Front sensor heater LH bank - short/open circuit

P0171 System too lean (bank 1) Multiplication injector adaptive fuelling - lean limit
exceeded LH bank

P1129 O2 sensors swapped bank to bank (sensor 1) Front sensors transposed

May want to deal with 1129 first, and see if condition clears

How would the sensors switch? This is the first Time this code has come up, I have been getting the others regularly because of the exhaust leak.

If you have not moved wires, then it is most likely a phantom ghost code brought on by the other one O2 sensor. Seems like that sensor needs some connector attention or maybe replacement.

Under Warranty. I will be removing it tomorrow and replacing it. Hope it works.

Replaced the O2 and cleared the codes, drove it around for a while. MiL is still off. Also had a shop clear the amigos again. Last time I went off road, everything worked great, even the Traction Control. Stopped for lunch and the 3 Amigos Came on, all I could think of was that the ABS sensors had got some dirt on them.

And the MIL light is back on, P0130 is the only code.

Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? It is a Bosch 02, 3rd one as I thought that I burned one up and then maybe got a defective one. I have checked the connector and it is plugged all the the way in.

1 Attachment(s)
See attached from Bosch manual, it shows voltages that generate that code. Connector problems?

Thanks, I will test them. Is there a Scanner or di I need to use a Volt/ohm meter?
