Coil Pack Repair??

I am reinstalling the coil pack after my HG job and I noticed what appears to be hard brown wax/plastic around one of the posts. Some plastic is chipped and I'm wondering if this was a repair job. Should I replace the coil pack while I have it out? The wires are STI and appear to be in decent shape.

Better yet. Since after you are installing everything back, its better to run fresh. Its just me. In that picture, was it glued before? It should be sealed all the way. The gap looks like just the way the flash or light source made it look like that.

I'd buy 2 new coil packs while you are working on it.

Definitely buy new coil packs and replace. They are not expensive and its nice and easy now that your deep into the breakdown. I would replace wires and plugs as well.

I heard someone on here is building a coil pack relocation kit

Haha. I thought the coil packs were more expensive. I guess I was looking at the set for over $200 and questioning it, but the individual packs are not so bad. When I looked at the math it was almost a $200 bracket :).
