Default Cooling question

Parked, My idle temp is 193 f. If I raise the rpms to 1200 it drops quickly to 184f. Is this normal or not? I am concerned that I have an issue because I had a sticky tstat last week now I am OCDing .

Input please. Thank you.

It's normal. When you raise the RPMs the water pump circulates more water and the fan draws more air thru the radiator.

Is this a 180F Land Rover stat or Motobad aftermarket? Most LR stat users have not reported this operation, but I do agree with the Dr on the cause. And we have pix posted of 65 mph with 182F...

Might also check on fan clutch, fins of radiator blocked, etc.
