I am thinking of moving the meet to a weekday instead of the weekend when there will be even less people out fishing. What you do think about that idea? Do you think more people will be able to go if I kept it on the weekend? I have no clue on how to salt water fish, but this can always be a learning experience! |

I found this bait launcher that I might make to get the shark bait way out past the sandbar with out getting wet or kayaking it out. All it is, is a air tank with a release valve that you charge up with a portable compressor before each launch. They make these molds and you hook your bait up and put it in the mold and fill the mold with water or chum and freeze it. Once frozen, you have a bait bullet that you load in the air cannon and launch 300yrds off shore. My brother and I used to make potato guns that look just like this. Weekend would be my choice also I have a satellite phone I keep with me in case of emergency or if I need to call someone.

we are still on for this right?

Most after market racks support up to 600lbs distributed weight. At least the ones where the mounts are over the pillars which appears yours is. If you look at some of the camel trophy rigs you will see they packem heavy.
