Cruise Control not Working

Hey Everybody, I have a 96 Disco and I have a problem with my Cruise Control. It worked when I bought it a year ago. Now it doesn't work, it used to work sometimes and then shut off on its own. Now I get nothing. Anyone haveor had the same problem and how do I fix it.

Thanks

RE: Cruise Control not Working

check all of the vaccum lines going to the unit.. 75% of the time this is the prob if u don't have a fuse blown.

Where should I be looking under the hood? Is there a unit for the speed control or are they on something else?

There is a control unit in the front LH side. It is under the metal in front of the air box. There is a line going from there back to a T around the brake booster. One line goes to the vacuum controller (black diaphragm)on the throttle and one line goes through the firewall to the brakelight switch.
