Dealer told me that I need to replace the receiver module for the remote
 

Help please has anyone done this before? how I change it and were is it located? I have a LR Discovery 2003

Why does it need to be replaced?

I need to change it because the keys are sending a signal but the receiver is not receiving it. The truck ran out of battery back in Dec and after that the keys stopped working. I took the truck to the dealership so they could relink the keys. They came back and told me that the Key is sending the signal but the truck is not getting it and that I need to replace the receiver.

Please help...

i hope you are still around after 10 years; did you replace the RF Transmitter? If so how much was it? Did your Disco have a sun roof?

He hasn't been on in over 8 years
