Diff Lock stuck/not working Disco 1 1994
 

Yesterday I was working in my Disco 1994 3.9L It has several electrical problems, and the transfer solenoid was not releasing the transfer when the gearbox was in N. I found the problem, and after I fixed the wire, the solenoid started working normally, but the lever can be shifted only betwen Low, N, and High. I can not shift the lever to Diff Lock neither in High, low, or N.

Anyone here with a similar experience/problem?

You may find that the linkage is bound up, happens quite often when not shifted much. Might want to go under the truck and clean and lube the linkage.
