Disco 2 Cuts Ignition upon reaching operating temp.

Hey all, I have a 2001 Disco II. I've been having some serious ignition problems. The ingnition simply cuts off and kills the engine about the time I reach full operating temperature. Alternator, Battery, Ignition Coils, Plug Wires, and Plugs have all tested perfect. Doesn't seem to be a problem with the charging or starting systems, because i'm not having any electrical problems (lights dimming or anything of that nature). Any ideas or stories of a similar nature would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like it is the temperature sensor. Not the one for the gauge, but the sensor for the ecm.

Or a crank position sensor would be a more common (to DII's) guess.

Bad crank sensor.
Replace it and all will be right with the world.

So, what does it take to restart it, do you have a check engine light on?
Normally I would say crank sensor but they just don't shut down when hitting operating temp.
