It appears this Disco is some sort of special edition. I've seen one other Disco exactly like this. Brush Guard with genuine LR lights, Kalahari style grey Typhoon's, and the Tek interior (cloth+leather) like the Trek and Kalahari Disco's...

 

Soooo where might you all direct me to find a replacement engine? My buddy might have the time to let both of us change the head gasket in his shop (assuming the head gasket is the actual problem) See, I am torn because of the mileage I feel like it might be a smarter move to just replace the engine.

that truck was for sale in Hingham Mass. 6-8 weeks ago in the 2-3k range. apprently someone in Conn. bought it even had the same pictures and discription

 

After i looked closer at the seller's info I came to the conclusion that this guy is some sort of an ebay seller... Thanks for the info! that sort of confirms my theory.

 

looks like a 4.6 and they didn't come in the 2001.

Yes, I was under the impression that the inductions set up changed on the the 03 and 04.
