We do that sort of thing on snow covered parking lots, not that fast though.
With a front wheel drive car get going about 40mph crank the wheel hard and pull up on the parking brake at the same time, scares the hell out of the wife and the kids love it.

When we were on the actually track they had set up I was using the parking brake to kick the back end of the truck around. Definitely made my turns sharper but it was slick enough I couldn't release the brake fast enough to keep the truck from going around too far.

I learned how to play on ice in the back parking lot of my high school. After a few near misses you learn how control the truck. You learn really fast that taking your foot off the gas will do more to control the truck in this kind of situation than the brakes ever will.

its soo much fun doing that in big parking lots at night we do it all the time up here in valdez AK and yes leting off the gas makes a world of difrince :D:D:D:D:D

I miss the ice races up there. It has been 25 years, but all the same, it was great fun.
