Discovery 2 TD5 electrical gremlins.

First post! Bit of a long one.

The other day my alarm went off, Car locked itself and immobilised its self, got into the car with Eka and disabled the immobiliser on nanocom so that’s sorted.

There was a little corrosion in the interior fuse box and I had a flashing B on my clocks and indicators wouldn’t come on the clocks at all. so i took that apart and cleaned it all. literally everything works now except a couple things. I can open the car with the key in the door and press the open button on the fob and the interior lights come on, indicators flash on the clocks and can get in and drive the truck.

But my rear windows/exterior indicators and central locking won’t work. Put a new battery in the fob, made sure all the connectors in the passenger foot well are okay. Made the sure the earths are okay. No blown fuses. Nanocom speaks to BCU fine. BCU is bone dry inside with no corrosion . Any ideas? Pulling my hair out lol cheers.

I haven’t dealt with this myself, but I think the fuse box needs to be matched with (come from the same vehicle) the BCU and instrument cluster.

hi mate it doesn’t you can swap them over but I think you have to leave it for a couple minutes for it to talk to the new fuse box
